The Norwegian Escape has leaved the covered building dock of Meyer Werft on August 15. We have broadcasted this event live in hd quality from 8 clock (local time) with multiple cameras. The ems conveyance to the North Sea is planned for September 16.
After the float out of the Norwegian Escape the smokestack covering and the mast were installed on the cruise ship.

Before the Norwegian Escape could be floated out, a swimming megablock of the Ovation of the Seas had to leave the dock. After the float out of the Anthem of the Seas, this and a second megablock were floated in again.
The Norwegian Escape is 325.9 meter long, 41.4 meter wide and has a gross-tonnage of 164,600 gt. She accommodates up to 4200 passengers.
